Views and Walks
There are many walking or hiking opportunities on the Sunshine Coast from the striking Glasshouse Mountains to any of the beautiful beaches. Here is a small selection, enjoy!
Noosa National Park – Walk from the Surfclub around to Hell’s Gates and back. Bush Turkeys, Koalas, Dolphins (or whales when the season is right) are regularly seen.
Laguna Lookout, Noosa – Particularly nice for a view of the sunset over Noosa river and town.

Mount Tinbeerwah Lookout – A short walk on mostly paved paths up to a 360 degree view of the Coast and Hinterland.
Mount Coolum – A hearty walk (or run if you are really keen). Popular for sunrise and sunset.
McCarthy’s Lookout – The breathtaking Glasshouse Mountains are laid out before you.
Glasshouse Mountains National Park – Numerous walks, hikes and climbs in this stunning area. Caters for most levels of fitness.

Markets
There are numerous markets on the coast and weekends allow you to pick some of the best around.
Marcoola Market – This is on every Friday evening. Grab some tasty treats from a good selection of street food vendors. You can eat at the market, on the grass or on the beach.
Eumundi Market – One of the largest on the Sunshine Coast. A mix of clothes, food, entertainment, household items and fun. You have two bites of the cherry here as it is on on both Wednesday and Saturday mornings.
Noosa Farmer’s Market – Sunday morning staple in Noosa. A hipster vibe with good food, coffee and a healthy dose of farm fresh vegetables and bone broth.
Food
From North to South there are a number of good restaurants and cafes.
Bistro C – Right on Noosa beach for a relaxed breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner.
Thomas Corner Eatery – Up the road on Gympie Terrace. Nice food, wine and service.
Noosa Boathouse – Sunset drinks overlooking Noosa River.
Orange on Sunrise – Between Noosa and Eumundi. Good pizza to eat-in to take away.
Pitchfork – A lovely dinner in the town of Peregian Beach.
Little Boat Espresso – A chilled venue in Marcoola, open for brunch, lunch, coffee and cakes.
Wild Rocket/Misty’s Microbrewery – Up in Montville lies this restaurant with its own micro brewery. Decent food with some great beer.
Shotgun Espresso – A good cup of Joe and simple food in the town of Maleny.
The Spirit House – Cool setting for a great Thai meal. If you want to learn how to cook some of their dishes, book onto one of their cooking classes!
Many of the Surf clubs offer the usual staples with some outstanding views of their respective beaches – Noosa Surf Club, Sunshine Beach Surf Club, Coolum Surf Club, Mooloolaba Surf Club and Alex Surf Club to name a few.
